Manufactured from a resilient thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), it offers greater flexibility and impact resistance than more rigid retainer materials, allowing it to better absorb and distribute the forces generated during parafunctional habits. This enhanced durability helps reduce the risk of cracking or fracture associated with repeated loading, making Enura™ a reliable option for patients who require long-term retention while being prone to heavy occlusal forces. While enura™ is not intended to replace a dedicated occlusal splint for the management of severe bruxism, its robust material properties make it well suited for patients with mild to moderate grinding tendencies who need a durable, comfortable retainer to maintain their orthodontic results.
